User Manual

Everything Okidooki Night can do for your nightlife — explained step by step. Designed for first-time users and power users alike.

🚀 Getting Started

Okidooki Night is a free download for iOS and Android. You'll need an account to use the social features, but you can explore the map without signing up.

1

Download

Get the app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

2

Create account

Sign up with Google or email. Choose a username and add a profile picture.

3

Allow location

Required to show venues, events and friends around you.

4

Pick your city

The map opens in your city by default. Tap the city chip to switch.

🗺️ The Map

The Map is the heart of Okidooki. It shows every venue, event, friend and Pulse around you, in real time.

What you'll see

Filters

Use the filter chips at the top of the map to narrow what you see: All · Our Partners · Clubs · Bars · Lounges · Restaurants · Events · Friends · Nearby · Quests.

Pro tip

Two events at the same address auto-spread in a small circle so you can see each marker — no more stacked pins.

🤖 Oki — Your AI Assistant NEW

Don't search. Just ask. Oki is the animated assistant living on your map — tap her avatar (bottom-left) and ask anything in your language.

📍 Party Mode

Party Mode is the toggle that makes you discoverable. Turn it on to appear on other people's maps with your avatar and (optional) distance. Turn it off any time to go invisible.

How to enable

  1. Tap the Nearby tab in the bottom navigation.
  2. Toggle Party Mode ON. The pink switch confirms you're visible.
  3. A countdown shows how long you'll stay visible (auto turns off if you don't refresh).

What Party Mode unlocks

Privacy

Party Mode only shares your approximate location, never your exact address. You can toggle off at any time, and you control who can see your profile.

🔥 Check-In — "I'm here" NEW

Checked in = part of the vibe. Venue pins show a live 🔥 counter of people inside, and everyone can see who's there.

  1. Open a venue profile while you're physically there (within ~250 m).
  2. Tap Check in. Done — you appear in the venue's Here now list.
  3. Tap again ("I'm here ✓") to check out. Check-ins auto-expire after 4 hours.

👥 Friends

Build your nightlife crew. When friends are in Party Mode you see them on the map; when they're offline you still see them in your Friends list.

Adding a friend

  1. Open someone's profile (tap their marker on the map or their avatar in chat).
  2. Tap Add Friend. They'll get a request.
  3. Once accepted, you'll see each other in the Friends tab and on the map.

Friend statuses

📱 Find Friends (Contacts) NEW

Your friends are probably already here. In the Friends tab tap Find friends:

  1. Allow contacts access — phone numbers are converted to anonymous codes on your phone; your contact list is never uploaded, exactly like WhatsApp.
  2. Contacts already on Okidooki appear instantly with their phonebook name — tap Add to send a friend request.
  3. Everyone else shows in an Invite list with checkmarks — select who you want (or Select all) and send one SMS invitation to all of them with a single tap.

🎟️ Events & Tickets

Browse every concert, festival, club night, opera and party in your city. Buy tickets directly in the app.

How to browse

  1. Tap the Events tab.
  2. Filter by Tonight, This Week or All.
  3. Use category chips: All · Club · Concert · Festival.
  4. Tap an event card for the full details: line-up, venue, time, ticket prices, gallery.

Buying a ticket

  1. Open the event.
  2. Tap Get tickets — Apple Pay / Google Pay / Card supported.
  3. Your ticket appears in Profile → Tickets as a scannable QR code.
For organizers

Want to sell tickets for your event? Open a business account from Profile → Become a business. Then use Quick Actions → Create Event.

🎟 FOC — Free of Charge NEW

Partner venues run FOC offers — free entry, a free welcome drink and more, often for a specific guest group (e.g. "first 20 girls, 18–25"). You never claim automatically: you apply, the venue decides.

How it works

  1. On a venue profile, look for the 🎟 FOC — Free of charge section (or a golden "Reserve a table · Free entry" button).
  2. If the offer targets your profile, tap Apply — the venue reviews your application.
  3. Once approved you get a push notification and a QR code in your Wallet — show it at the door. Food & drinks are paid as usual.

📡 Pulse Events

Pulse events are free community events — no tickets, no fees. They appear on the map as animated category markers and disappear when they end.

Create a Pulse

  1. Tap the pink + on the map → Create Pulse.
  2. Pick a category. Categories include nightlife (Club, Concert, Festival) plus 18+ everyday types (Yoga, Dog Park, Travel, Gossip, Kebab, Fashion, Holiday, Hot Spot, Sport, World Cup 2026, and more).
  3. Add a title, location (pin or search), date & time.
  4. Optionally: add a poll (up to 100 options) so people can vote at the event.
  5. Tap Create.
Daily Limit

To keep the map clean, you can create up to 3 Pulse events per day. The badge "X / day" at the bottom of the Create Pulse screen shows your remaining quota.

Edit or delete your Pulse

  1. Open the Pulse from the map or your profile.
  2. Tap the menu (•••) → Edit or Delete. Polls and votes are preserved during edits.
